Email or Forms
Hi,
I've noticed that some websites don't display any email addresses and require all contact to be made via forms. I guess this would solve the problem of spam but what would be some of the other reasons they would do this? Can anyone provide some advantages and disadvantages of setting up a website using only forms as a contact method? Thank you. Simon. |

Well providing email address is a bit nicer than just using the form, normally I would use both email address and form.

I'd say to use both, also. People have different needs. At work, I'd like to use a contact form so I don't have to email you from my work account. I may want to send you a quick message with a form, or craft a long detailed message over email. Give the users all the options you can so everyone is happy.
