Try running it in safe mode, without any extensions loaded, and see if you still have the same problem.
When was the last time you ran a full anti-virus scan?

It's been randomly killing itself occasionally on Ubuntu 5.10 (Fx 1.0.8).
Pretty annoying when it happens, though I haven't tested to see what's causing it.

No Gmail stuff. I have (as well as DOM inspector and language pack) - SubmitToTab
- JS debugger
- Web developer
- All-in-One gestures
- Linkification
- Live HTTP Headers
- miniT
- Tabbrowser preferences
- Forecastfox
- Add bookmark here
- Bookmark all
- Flat bookmark editing
- Locate in bookmark folders
- Enhanced bookmark search
- Bookmark backup
- Spiderzilla
- Furl tools
- Anti-paranoia
- HTML validator
Basically, too damn many, especially when I'm not using half those bookmark ones.
I don't suppose that helps much.
If it's relevant, anti-paranoia doesn't ever seem to have worked for me at all. The menu items are there but don't trigger the dialogue boxes or anything. I installed it quite recently. Maybe it's out to get me.

Cos they're good.
And in a few cases, because I tried them out and haven't bothered deleting them.
Anyway, any obvious overlaps? Anyone? I suppose this might just be one screwy extension.

So the ones we have in common are HTML validator, LiveHTTPHeaders and Web Developer. But are you actually getting the shutdown problem?
