FireFox usage as high as 38% in some countries in Europe?

I have just seen this article. Some of the stats on there are crazy! I don't believe this is true so much (although I'm basing it just off logs I am in contact with myself). Look at Germany, Finland and Slovenia - over 30%! Crazy stuff. I still don't know any non-geeks who do use it though to be honest.

It was more for the numbers really. I always thought (and this is assuming this report is accurate) that the states was ahead of europe in FF usage.

I would not have thought that myself.

Interesting that the numbers get higher the further east you go. I have to wonder what these numbers would look like alongside population, computer users per capita and computer professionals per capita.
Dear God. What is it like in your funny little brains? It must be so boring.

German people are amazing with some of the computer related things. Also to note that German Wikipedia is the second most active. Anyone German here?

Statistics, statistics and damn lies. The average household has 2.5 children and 1.2 dogs and 3.1 parents. There's no such thing as an average person.

On the subject of the 38% stats i would like to see the methodology used to arrive at that conclusion :-
    - guesswork
    - crystal balls or ouija boards (used by some police agencies to 'solve crime')
    - some exotic formula?
