anything you judge to be a milestone, if noone else does, your repcount may know about it though

EDIT: I don't think there's that much difference betwee the GUI and console, though. The FAQ says that the screensaver uses around 5% of the CPU. (is that the GUI version?) Windows users (in general) are probably more content with seeing something actually running rather than it running in the background, I imagine.

not all windows users want the eye candy i have been using the eye gui cus when i started there wasn't an alternative afaik. But now im switching! Plus it means i can install in on all the machines i work with and it won't get affected yay

Oh and i was right! I now have my 4th blue thing yeah!!

    O_O

My next WU ends in 31 days... It has over 3000 frames...

Anyways, thanks for the idea of using a console app, whoever said it first.

Yes, except the systray icon is red. And a bit bigger.

Don't think it's a gear or a flower, but a protein chain, or part therof

Ive got a few questions about this folding thing.

I read through most of the pages about it, and I installed the console on two dual-core computers in my room. Anyone know if it will utilize both processors?

How do I gett those blueish things next to my post bars? Are they related?

Is a whole protein one WU? And what do WU's do?

When will it show up my username (Immortal1490) on their page?

    1.No idea
2.In your profile page in your userCP, you need to enter your folding number
    3. Work units are a set series of calculations to perform, it can be many proteins, look on the site what the different work units are.
4.Once your first WU is done.

And just to add (cus we have been asked loads on aspfree) that the blue things are updated overnight so once you complete your first WU and get your id you will need to enter it in the userCP as stated and then wait till the info in the db is updated
