Is anyone else experiencing problems getting on to devsheds forums. Its been up and down for the last two days, and only just come back on?

any info would be cool.

A couple of times (maybe 2 or 3) over the past two weeks or so, I've had some intermittent problems getting to the site, but nothing serious. I was always able to get back on again within 20-30 minutes of my first attempt. No biggie.

Wierd, I couldn't get on at all yesterday, day before that I could posted a thread, then about an hour later it was gone again.

Even my someother guy couldn't get on , and they are on different connections/isp's

Yeah it's been especially bad over the last few days, today more so. Sometimes I get a 500 sometimes nothing at all, AFAIK it's always been like this, it's a bit poor from a site that's content includes server issues

It's definately a fault at thier end as when I finally can connect and look at "who's online" I'm often the only one.

Strange, I haven't had any problems. However, one day last week I couldn't get on at all, but that's the only problem I've had.

It's been intermittent since I fisrt started coming here. At least once a week, I get timeouts, usually for several hours. I never gave it much thought...

For me it has been intermittent for the past month! I even had some trouble just now! When I first came here, it worked fine but now it is going nuts. Btw, I am not mad cause I know that there is a lot involved with running a good, stable server.

Flaky Server
The server that hosts forums.devshed.com is on deathwatch. We have a new (sweet) box almost ready to go. It should be up early next week. Until that time we're having physically reboot the machine way too often. We haven't pinned the problem down to one particular item, but the box is old enough it's time to replace it anyways. Once we have the new box up and running we'll troubleshoot the old one more an hopefully have it available to "hot" back up more of the site.
