Good idea, and they got in there first (in the UK), but friends reunited is amazingly crap.

The user interface is not the best (designed or organised), but then three of the four people on the logo are blind, so they wouldn't know that. Whenever something goes wrong/or right when updating details, an alert box flashes up. That bugs me a lot.But the reason I'm griping is:
I logged in, decided to change my details, and it asks for my password again - even though it says who I am logged in as. That's stupid. But then I change my email address in my details, and it tells me it's emailed me a validation code, er no it hasn't, or maybe it's just taking a long long time to get to me, as are the other two I asked for it to send.
Then I go back to my details and guess what, my email has been updated, but hold on... I didn't fill in the validation code. Now when I go and update my details it flashes up another box telling me it can't be updated. Then I click to update (when it sends me back) click update and it can again.
What a load of rubbish. The email still hasn't arrived. Jeez.
The search can't be by surname or firstname only, so how do you find that long lost person you only new by first name? Or someone who has since been married? Now the back button keeps just refreshing the page - I don't want to choose between the Metropolitan Police training school, or their cadet school (what's the difference anyway?) - I was after the Metropolitan University (which at last check WAS in London). Four emails should be hitting my inbox very soon....
