since when? sometimes it is the easiest stuff that's not even mentioned in the tutorials, gets you confused. Not everybody start using computers at 12, nor do have access to them. I didn't even know how to shut down windows until 14.

ye you did answer, but it was more like

I'm not saying her s/he question was appropriate, but considering your level of knowledge and his/her, you could've handled a little bit better. it's not like you're forced to asnwer.

well, this is not the right place- if someone posts an extremely stupid ?, you assume they'rekidding and reply with sarcasm. Or, you've gotten enough away from the forums that you have to have some fun once in a while...

I was the first to reply to her question, then once I saw that s/he didn't have a clue (when s/he asked what a CD was), I backed off. I'm probably one of the more patient members, but I have my limits.

Let me put it this way ... if my mom can install software (which she can), I think anybody should be able to.

mttatkns -

That was nothing. Since you seem to have a bizarre infatuation with my threads....

jharnois is one of the nicer members of the board, as you can plainly see. I'm not even the "nastiest" guy here by a long shot... so I wouldn't pick on j about his response to tara

I still think s/he might be a wind-up. can anyone really be that thick? c/he'd have to register on devshed first ;-)

OMG, that really made me laugh. Honestly, I had to get out of the computer and bury my face in my pillow so that my aunt won't hear me from the other room. The funny part is not that it was intended to be funny, but tara is somehow frustrated and no one almost treat her seriously. OMG - that was hilarious good one.
