I guess. I wasn't overly impressed, its mainly looks like the ICQ chat, where you can see what is being typed...the only feature I like is inserting your responses wherever you want.

I like the feature at the end of the video where it translates live from, say, english to french..

ideas for 'wave bots'
1) the pessimist bot: listens to conversations and throws in random disparraging remarks 2) spam assassin bot: listens to conversations (especially ones embedded into blogs) and culls out conversations on the fly 3) sneezy bot: (think 7 dwarves) connected to international health information - randomly sneezes in conversations and advises of the current death toll for bird flu etc

This is easily done. I've started what I call the "Wave to Ripple Project" taking ideas from Google Wave and recreating them. First example was how to add a comment to the end of a paragraph. This can be taken a step further to adding a comment where ever inside the paragraph as well. This only took me an hour. I'm currently working on a full client but it'll take me a little longer. It's using JavaScript (mainly thanks to ExtJS) with PHP/MySQL backend. Look here Last edited by mizzory : June 7th, 2009 at 07:19 PM. |

I can see a really easy to manage CMS in the works, using the embed api and just dragging your clients onto their respective waves

It looks neat, and I am looking forward to playing with it. Otherwise, and until that time, I reserve no opinion.
OK, one opinion: Go, HTML5, go! |

I missed this, but saw the demo a good while ago.
Maybe I'm just too skeptical, but is this more about 'hosted conversations', than it is about cool functionality?
