I have a difference engine if you want it. Just have your semitrucks swing by my place to get it.
I keep my junk. Never know when you might need a 5.5" floppy drive.

I have an old thinkpad I'd love to unload but the CD drive doesn't work. I have a second CD drive that doesn't work either. Somethings screwed up ... no idea.
Swing by my house on the way to Ryon's ... or pay for shipping. It's on its way to the recycling center soon if not :-)

I'm in need of a laptop too. I just need something since my house has only one computer, I need a computer for some jobs my boy scout troop wants me to do. All it needs to have is just enough memory for different browsers. Anyone have a crap one extra too? (Sorry didn't want to make a new thread just for same question). I can pay shipping/handling or even a little cash if you so desire.

I think I have a couple of old Dell Inspirons lying in the loft, along with a box of old mobo's, hdd's, PSU's etc. etc.. To be honest, I think most of it deserves to be in the bin (and the girlfriend would agree!).
Now that I think about it, I think it's a trip down to the recycling centre this weekend. It would cost far too much for shipping out to you from here.

It's not even worth the cost it would take to ship it over to you! I'm in Scotland and you are in the US. To be honest, it's been lying that long I think the battery will be goosed.

It may be quite expensive to ship out. I'll check out the shipping costs and get back to you. Suppose I best get them down from the loft tomorrow and make sure that they still work before finding out the costs!

Caveat Emptor. You can't be too careful.
@aitken - wouldn't finding out the shipping costs be a far lazier task than actually getting the machines out? That would definitely be the first port of call for me!

For me, all I demand is that it can hold enough memory for different browsers. Let me know the shipping.

Picky Picky. Anything with 256m ram and 1 GHz CPU will be plenty. I would recommend tweaking it though, otherwise windows will eat up all your ram.
