Surprisingly CNET NEWS have very good news but everything else sucks, all M$ driven. Back then I subsribed to the news.com mailing list and that's how I got my fair share of anti-ms propaganda. Even after Microsoft actually bought Hotmail. A long long time ago...

I never go past news.com and download.com.com (notice the double .com!!) though.
