Help! How do i upload FROM the net?
My problem is this.
I need to know how to let people login to a webpage (admin only) and be able to upload files to a webpage. The deal is, it will be a table of links to newsletters which will be added weekly. So all they have to be able to do is add the month, say "February Week 3" and be able to upload a file (word document) so as when uploaded someone can click and download or view the newsletter. How do i do it?? Thanks in advance.. fflur. |

Well, first of all this doesn't belong here in the lounge.
You need to choose a programing language - php, perl, etc. Then you will likely need to choose a database type - mysql, postgre, text file, etc. After you have chosen that, you need to start writing some code. When you run into problems with that code, then post your code, error messages, etc., in the proper forum. We will then be able to help you. There are lots of different ways to do this, and there isn't anyway for us to explain in a forum posting how to do this. You might be able to find a free script that is already written at hotscripts.com, php.resourceindex.com, or other similar sites.
