How much should i quote?

Hi Guys,
Just wondering how much money people would quote for the following jobs?
I just need a general figure on what to charge.

Cheers,
maccam

Quote 1:

I would like to put in place an online ordering system for the CLIENT
stores. This ordering system will be for the stores to order via the
email different products from a range of suppliers. Once they have
completed the form the order needs to be sent to the head office as well
as the supplier. I see the order form having a pull down menu so as they
can select which supplier, this needs to be able to be updated by CLIENT
as new suppliers are appointed. The orders will need to be
archived in the appropriate supplier folders on the web site. Therefore
we will need to have an SQL database produced. This database can also be
used for capturing and storing contact information. I would also like to
have a bulk mailer produced. I hope this gives you enough information.

Quote 2:

Front End - Public Access
Front end contact form and login page, the contact from will be captured
into the contacts database.

Back End - Control Panel
Golf Club staff members will be given access to the backend via a hard coded
username and password, the staff access and control panel will include all
the tools for controlling any information captured by the contact form.

Control Panel includes:

1. Contact Management.
To control (add, edit, view and delete) contact data. Information is
captured via the front end contact form and can also be added in manually by
staff.

2. Bulk Mail Generator.
Talks directly to the contact manager and allows staff to broadcast email
messages to members. With powerful merge capabilities the bulk mailer can
send personalised messages to selected contacts, all contacts or individual
contacts stored in the database. There are no limits to the number of
messages sent or the frequency they are sent.

3. Groups Manager.
The groups manager will allow staff members to create, edit and delete email
user groups. Contacts will be able to be added to individual and multiply
groups. This will filter contacts when using the bulk mailer and newsletter
generator.

4. e-Newsletter Generator.
Allows staff to create, and archive electronic newsletters that can then be
emailed via the bulk mail generator to all or some of their contact
database. Newsletters can include both text and images, and will created
using a standard template.

Suggesting figures would be collusion and therefore a criminal offence. Quote how long it will take you * hourly wage.

Collusion you can be let off with, but crossposting is a lock 'em up and throw away the key offence.

Should you really be the one talking about cheap when you don't know how much to charge?

Like I said earlier:

how much you charge per hour
*
how many hours you think it will take
+
a %age extra for any overruns on time

A project is worth the time it takes you to do it, and not how much others charge, hence you'll be able to undercut opposition, and will not undercut yourself into loss-making when matching the opposition.

Why not have ask one of us to do the job for you? You can then add 10% to the amount we quoted and deliver it to the customer.
