how would i set this up?
ok guys,
i only work with front end at this point, so I need all the info you can give me. Here's what somebody wants to do: on the existing web site (that runs on Win 2000 server and has ASP enabled) to create a secure directory for the clients. a client goes to a specific page, enters the user name and password and will be taken to a directory where s/he can see images that only belong to him/her. I have absolutely NO clue as to how to do that. Thanks for any info you can give me (preferrably detailed *lol*) p.s. I know this probably is not the best forum to ask my question in, but there's no asp forum here.

That's because ASP isn't open source, and all of these forums (pretty much) are focused on open-source development. As such, you'd probably do better to post your question to a forum that handles proprietary languages like ASP specifically- perhaps sitepoint.com or http://www.4guysfromrolla.com/. Not to be rude, but I think you'll kind of be wasting your time posting questions about ASP at devshed. |
