Thank you!
Between millions of letters written, a heavy server load and hundreds of life-saving tips and advices that are being written here every day, I would like to stop for a second and thank you all. I mean it.
I think DevShed Forums is the best developer community I have ever seen (well...surfed). You guys helped me a lot and I hope you will never stop doing so! Let me salute to all of the great girls and boys that make this community so darn good! And if you think I am getting sentimental here: you bet I am! - Never got so much help from people I don't even know... Let it all proceed and the contribution flourish, Amen! Dekers P.S - there isn't a better way of showing how active this cummunity is than simply writing your opinion about what I wrote here

^ erm, thank you ;-)
Well, seriously, thank you again especially to all the PHP hacks who answered my questions before they were asked. Today's useful information: Getting around post_max_size and upload_max_filesize using .htaccess which just saved me a bunch of time as I was starting to explore duct taping my otherwise perfect collaborative area with some ludicrous FTP workaround or try mixing Perl and PHP, which might have been fun ... ?? But yeah. Thanks DevShed contributors one and all, once again! :-D

Well, I still know Perl better than I do PHP even though I'm finding PHP easier at this point for most things so it probably wouldn't have been such an awful experience. OTOH typing two lines into notepad was a heckuva lot easier ... ;-) |

The reason? CPAN. Why write a 300 line php script when it can be compressed into 30 with a few modules? |

...and just think of the *FUN* you'll have next week when you spend three days trying to work out what those three lines mean!
