I would like to pass out thanks to (in no special order apart from the first one!): Ishnid, LinuxPenguin, dotancohen, chads2k2, Axweildr, r937, CrownJewel, and many others. Some have 'just' passed on rep to say that they agree with me or find something I said witty which is appreciated. Others have commenetd upon or added rep for the answers I have tried to supply (which is very nice!). Yet others have enhanced my knowledge either by a direct answer to a question of mine or by helping another and 'allowing' me, and others, to benefit from their words (which is rather splendid).
Yet others have made me laugh! And think. And get annoyed. And want to smack heads together ... All of which is genuinely appreciated.

Would you go as far as calling it . . . "glorious" . . . modesty (or perhaps that defeats the purpose).
Anyway, glad to be of help. Ultimately, I think most of us are here to help others and learn things ourselves. Any bit of fun that can be had along the way is a bonus. It's always nice to know people actually read what you post!

People read this? Oh my...
It's cool to get thanked. I do try to help a bit, but for the past few months I've become something of a troll. I should probably mention the one's that I should thank- those who have helped me in the past, and still do. Aitken, Simon, Ax, LP, Crown, Gimp, Coder,.. the list goes on and on. What's coolest is that the help is mutual. Ehlanna, who thanked me above, had helped me out in the linux forms not so long ago.
If I forgot someone here, don't worry. We both know, and that's what's important. I can't wait for the Devshed reunion twenty years from now when I'll be able to kick back over a beer with you.

Gosh ... a mutual appreciation society ... I am blushing!
What I find very - what's a good word? - fulfiling is to be able to make a comment/offer help to someone and have one of the people whom I have come to respect come along and give a nod and thumbs up or, even better, have them say "wow, that is useful, didn't know that"
As for the 'glorious' modesty!!!! Well, hmpfff! Such modesty indeed! What was it Samuel Johnson said (if it were indeed he and not someone else) "a modest man with much to be modest about"?

Good, that was the aim - to make you laugh. Well, ok - so not JUST you, but you know what I mean! It's the end of the week, the weekend is imminent, throw off the baggage of a crap week and start the weekend with a smile and a chuckle!

I dont know edwin as much (apart from the excellent work and contribution i have read here on DevS), but I know Dngrsone very well due to his constantly high standard of posts and mod work on sister forums DevH.
DevS has lost a couple of great mods and I wish the both of you....ALL THE BEST!!
