I would say leave the sticky, it ant taking much room on top and if someone would like to thank someone else for the help, BOOP there it is....... But again I want to thank SilentRage!!!!! Have you looked at the DNS thread????? Look at the last poster of all the posts!!!! Just look at how many people he helps out...... I'm sure it is not because he has nothing better to do..... LOL SilentRage is a rare..... He helps because he can and want nothing in return, but for you to say "yep that fixed it thank you"........... So my vote would be leave it as a sticky..... ![]() |

I was saying yesterday how the most amazing thing about this place is that no one is really an a**hole, as even when you see the same topics over and over, and get ridiculous questions, people are always willing to help, and so I offer it in return.
Helps to develop, and helps others |

I dont know how many of you visit the antivirus forum, but there is a mod there by the name of TomMboy who's doing a fantastic job. most of the people he helps are completely satisfied. and he tackles the same probs again and again with great patience.
the best part is , he's so good most of them end of by saying they gotta recomend devshed to others. its really amazing to see. true its mostly noobs & non-programmers comming into devshed from there, but i'm sure they contribute to devshed's revenue more than the old hands do through ad clicks etc. another user who really's patient with the noobs there is grinler.. but he seems not to ahve been online lately.. good job guys. ![]() hey i know this is an unusual thread. since I'm not sure if it should be joined to the thankyou thread.. i'll let the mods decide. Mod Edit: Threads merged. --Peter

Yawmark is doing some excellent posting in the Java forum. He knows his stuff, has a lot of patience, and you get the feeling that most users get what they want and a bit more from his advice. The forum doesn't need much moderation, but since DrGroove and Nemi aren't as visible nowadays, the Powers That Be could do worse than see if he's interested.

I agree. I also think that Megumi in the Windows and Computer Hardware forums does a good job.
