Hi all... just wandered in. Don't know HOW I missed this place for so long. Sat around slackjawed reading posts for a day before bothering to register
21, Sr Comp Sci major. 1 more semester and a summer and it's off to work i go! (hopefully)
Started off as a mech engineer, then realized i hated it, weird as that may seem.
Got my first computer when I started college, first touched anything besides windows (Solaris), Coding (C), and commandline (go Vi!!) all at once 2 years ago, and fell in love. Now I know more languages than i can count, with varying degrees of competency, Work off an iMac running Panther, have an XP/RH box sitting next to my desk, and am happy as a clam.
Kinda kicking myself for letting ANOTHER forum pull me in, but... meh, what's one more, hmm?

Yeah I know what you mean Cheerios, I get so side tracked in here sometimes, place is great and the folks are wonderful. I still don't trust my PHP skills enough to give advice, but I have submitted a ton of ??? that got answered and should help people.

I also just kind of wonered off and then back on, funny how this post just appeared "overnight" (2 months later).

I am 21, Married and have a little boy
I work full time doing internet and marketing work, and also own my own business. I have been in and out of college for the past 3 years.

I have never really been into formal "programming", Been coding for the net though since the very early days. My first PC was an Apple IIE, followed by a IBM 286 with a 10 MB Hard Drive. I really got hooked I think when was in 7th Grade. It has all just built up to turn me into the nerd I am today.
