Although I'm a newbe on this web site, I've been around quite awhile -- hence my name 'Ancient' ... my grandchildren think I was born in the stone age I began programming in about 1981 when I moved here to St Louis area from California. Bought a book and a Trash 80 computer (Radio Shack for you younger readers) with OS/2 operating system and began learning. At first I couldn't even figure out how to write the standard "Hello World" program. But I've been programming every since in C and C++. For the past three years I've been working almost exclusively with WinCE PocketPC using eVC++ 3.0 compiler, and the VC++ 6.0 to write COM+ server for Windows NT/2000/XP (although I'm really not very knowledgeable in that area).
