I am a Law & Advanced Investigations graduate, pursuing a career in policing and very close to getting the job. I also tried my luck in I.T. and Programming. I am done my program so I am re-trying programming, more excited than ever even though it is not my main profession.
I am 23 years old in July and in my free time I like to write music (piano, guitar) and write novels.
Rumbled on there, hope to learn and contribute here !!!

Hey everyone, just thought I'd come on here and introduce myself, I figure I could be using this site for years to come. I just recently graduated with a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Computer Science and am about to start my first internship (I know, I should have had one earlier) and would like to become an active member on here for tips on programming and being a professional in this industry.
If I could draw on the experience of the members of this board I feel it will be immensely helpful in building a strong and fruitful career in Computer Science, a field which I aspire greatly to become an authority. But you have to start somewhere!
Anyway, does anyone have any advice for just beginning? What kind of job should I be looking for, what kind of people should I be trying to learn from, and what kind of money should I be looking to make and how should I manage it? What I really want to know is, how can I organize myself in the best possible way to start a career?
I'm new here and my name is aparnaa! Curious to explore the site!!!
Nice to meet everyone here.
I just registered a few minutes ago after one of my friends recommended this forum to me.
It feels good to be here. I hope we all learn something new each day and have lots of fun.
Have a good day.
I am Gianna Bosanquet, glad to be here for sharing business ideas and hope to grow faster with all your support.

Hi, I am new here, and very honored to join the community, and to learn from everyone here.
I'm an internet marketing ninja, and I lead a team of 100 in house ninjas, where about 15 are programmers and designers....I also work with about 20 freelance programmers....and back in the day, I used to program and design myself...
I also happen to be the new owner of devshed and the entire development shed network of sites. I am the owner, but I need you guys to lead the way...while I work on creating a better user experience than this site is used to.
I hope to be able to welcome many new members over the coming years.
I'm sure I can learn a lot here, and I'll try to contribute when I can as well.
