InvisionBoard on win xp, apache question
I am having problems getting Invision Board to publish on the web.

I use win xp home, apache 1.3.27, php 4.3.1 and mysql 4.0something

I am also hosting my own webpage. I use 2 DNS servers from ZoneEdit.com. I have to use port 8080 because my ISP blocks 80.

I can get my homepage to publish. However, when I go to my "forums" page, it won't allow me to sign into forum.

I know exactly where the problem is. In the Basic Config of the Admin Page, I get "locked out" once I change the board address from localhost/forums to mywebsite/forums.

Anyone know what the solution is?

Maybe it's a cookie issue? The cookie is getting set on 'localhost', so it's not available for 'website' ?? You'll probably get better answers if you find an Invision forum or mailing list.

Thanks for advice. I figured it out on my own. But it is useless to ask invision board guys. they take forever and a day to get back to you and since this board is an Invision Board I thought it might be helpful.

Wow they are very similiar. Must use a lot of same scripts. Would you say that vBulletin is better ?

Ermm, invision looks totally different to VBulletin. I use invision quite a bit and think its a very good tool. I havent had the problem you are experiencing though
