If you are looking for a good laugh, give this a read. M$ now wants to charge you to create secure software.
Truly unbelievable, the company that created the insecurities and bugs that lead to 99% of todays viruses now wants to charge to fix them. That takes cajomes mas grande http://netscape.com.com/2100-1104-961173.html?type=pt

This is rich. He is, of course, correct, however it flies in the face of the companies opposition of open source AND the major reason corporations choose commercial apps over open source.

Friend, can I interest you in our latest line of automobiles...? Only $15,995. I ask you, is this not a great price for a vehicle?
Oh, you want one without a leaking oil pan? + $125.00 You prefer not to drive on bald tires? + $332.00 The cracked windshield puts you off? + $954.00 You feel you need seat belts? + 245.00 Doors? Our lack of doors is a convenience, for quick exit and entry. Really, sir, our tests show that 95% of users never need them, but OK... + 2995.00 Locks on those doors? Our system is still somewhat incompatible with this crazy new concept of "lock & key", but we have experimental support in that area... + 14,995.00 There... Satisfied now? That'll be only $45,021.00 What? You expect us to do the math correctly, too? Really, sir. OK, how about this: the extra part is for the consultation I just gave you, plus the hidden "c@jone$ mas grande" feature. ![]()

On a sidenote my friend, your car may crash periodically, for no reason, but that's ok just restart it and keep driving.
No, it isn't a problem, it's completely normal. In fact it's a feature!! The frequent crashes help shake loose the rust that builds up. |

![]() Their recent attempt at changing to licensing all their software failed because in the test market (NZ/Australia) users wouldn't put up with it. Imagine paying annual fees to keep using windows/office, it gives me the shivers This always cracked me up, although it is pretty old. But that damn paperclip! You call that help? I'd rather have these offers from it, like: "What me to p*&s off and leave you alone?" ... yeah but forever. Then I switched to open office, and I rarely have to see the damn thing now ![]() |
