Hi,
I have a UNIX nightly process that needs to email a report to Windows users. Does anyone now how to generate an excel spreadsheet on the UNIX platform?? |

I think that the best way should be to generate a flat file (or better an xml file) and then import the data in excel/access thru a macro.
On sourceforge there is a php class that generates excel files from mysql, maybe you can adapt it. Hope this helps, and please report about your experience!
