MS SQL exam study tips
I'm studying for this exam: Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Database Development - it's the first in the Microsoft tree of database exams. I have the exam book but they also offer labs to study with. I've only taken one Microsoft exam before and I know they test a little differently than CIW or CompTIA for example. Bearing in mind that MSDN.net and youtube have a lot of good, free resources to help me study, is it worth buying the labs as well?
I'm doing this through work, so they foot the bill for everything. The catch is that I share a training budget with my team so I don't want to blow this month's budget by getting stuff I don't really need. Does anyone have any advice on this? I don't know what the labs offer, but I have a VPS with MS SQL 2008 on it, I'm sure I could practice on my own too.
