Need help with deciding degree and college

i've been trying to figure out wheather i should do a game art degree or a computer animation degree and i'm not sure where to go. I've been doing the research on it but i'm not really sure which one would be better beause i want to work in the gaming field and they seem to be very almost the same. I've looked at many colleges to but i don't know which one would be the best. If anyone can help me out please do.

Perhaps go to (or call) a couple schools that offer those degrees, and them questions, perhaps see if you can't get contact info of the universities department head (for the art/animation). Perhaps that person could help you on deciding.

I doubt you will get much help here, this is a forum that is more related to programming rather than graphic design.
