New DevShed engine
Now that our transition to the new Zope-based engine is finally complete, what do you think?

I know there isn't much change in outward appearance, but, believe me, it is a lot nicer on the backend, and it will make it a lot easier for us to add new features to the site.

If you have any suggestions on features, the site, or any Python/Zope advice for a PHP/MySQL guy , post below.

I've been coming to DevShed for over 2 years and it is still one of my favourite sites! I hope that you can keep the great articles and info coming because I have learned so much here. Thanks!

The new engine sounds great but I must admit I can't really see the difference. It would be interesting to know just how much difference it makes so maybe an "Inside DevShed" article would be a good way of showing and educating us.

Just a thought

What is the zope-engine? The forum is still vBulletin.

I think it's good. While there isnt too much of a notice I liked the "View PHP source" thing before.

Like Spyder said, an Inside DevShed article would be swank!!
