New Member needs Help!

First of all, "howdy" to all. This looks like an outstanding resource; glad to be aboard.

Here is my need: I have a database (in this case of sales contacts) I need to find a way that when certain conditions are met (for example, Zip code, etc.) that a client (preferably an icon on the toolbar) flashes to notify the client (sales rep) that they have new info. Basically, the language or methodology doesn't matter... I just need a way to notify remote clients of certain conditions being met in our database. (even if it means the client periodically pulling for "new" updates on the database)

Any help would be GREATLY! appreciated.

would you, could you...

do it up in flash? If you wanted, you could use a line of AS that would start your 'notifacation flashing' when leads accumulate....

Could run from any web browser. That's pretty flexible.

HAve fun.
Hope this helps.

Thx,
the pale e
