new set of [recommended] rules :)

Hey guys and girls,
well, thanks to our enlightining discussion in php forum, I think some people will benefit from, we now have an opinion from few 'major league players' about what should and shouldn't be on the forum. Recommended to read before the same happens to anyone else, and frankly I see more and more people making the same mistakes:

i see the same questions being asked all the time and i get sick of writing the same answers, but instead of getting agro about it why not leave it for someone else to answer. Save your talents for the more challenging questions, maybe...

i have also noticed an increase in the number of "Why didn't you use the search function" lately

Personally I think it is a flaw with the design/layout of this discussion board

Google has the right idea, the first thing you do when you look at the site is use the search box
http://groups.google.com/

Where is the search function here ?
6th button to the right of the navbar in tiny writing
that says it all i guess...

admins, I suggest you start a thread where people could their recommendations to everybody (just few short lines) and then ya'll can pick some of them that make more sense then others and make them official rules. how's that?
