I am working on a website that involes a big list of movies. I want to make the page searchable by either, Actor or Actress / Title / Director or Genre. I just would like to know of any ways that would be best to make this site or what I should do to make this easier.
I want each movie to have a specific number so say that if you are searcing under titles the movie gladiator is number 134 and you click on it finds out what movie 134 is and goes to that page same as if you were searching under any other category. |

hi!
this sounds to me like a good example for learning php/mysql. Get phpMyAdmin too. it makes administration and table editing for mysql much easier ![]() there is tutorials on www.devshed.com that should help you. and the manuals are on www.php.net www.mysql.org perl can also do the job and is probably easier to understand - as long as you donīt read other peoplesī code ![]()
