it is a research , so I expect no . Any other software available ? I used Thunderbird with lightning , but they are just normal email + client softwares . I need something , like drag these emails into a task list or so .

It was academic research, so there's no guarantee of it making it into a commercial product. Nick's homepage links to a product he works on that appears to incorporate something like what you're looking for: link here.
