Orkut Weirdness
Anyone all of a sudden not a member of some of the orkut communities they joined/created without actually leaving them? There's a couple communities I've created/joined that I'm no longer a member of, but when I look up the community it still says I'm the creator and the member count is right, but there's only like 1 or two people shown (when it should be like 60 and I'm not included).

One thing that annoys me about Orkut is the amount of crap community messages going around. The most popular ones at the moment is all of the gmail invite requests going to the Linux community.

orkut bothers me due to the relative lack of interest in joining the community by the populace at large. i've found friendster to be much more active and interesting, much more participatory than orkut.

On the whole that's true, although I've found some nice activity within some of the seasonal communities such as those centered around sports, TV shows, etc. but once those seasons end it's like a ghost town. The other ones (including the devshed one but then again there's not really a point as we have the lounge here) are pretty dead.
