Well, there are some programs that make this a snap, but you must pay for most. However, you CAN do it with just about any software, although it may take a little more time. What software did the camera come with/is installed on your computer?

well, I haven't used any of those programs so I'm not sure if it'll work but in general what you would want to do is:
1) Determine the pixel area of the final image. To do this, find the dimensions of each picture and add the horizontal measurements together. The size of the final image will be this long, with the same height of the pictures. 2) Create a new document, of the size you determined in #1 3) Open the pictures 4) Select all of one photo 5) Copy (Ctrl+C) the selected area to the clipboard 6) Paste (Ctrl+V) into the document you created in #2. 7) Repeat the process with each photo until your panorama is done. |

You should look into Quicktime VR technology. What that does is take your images and with a VR authoring application, puts them on a cylindrical shape. Then people can view it on the web with just the regular Quicktime plugin while navigating around and zooming in. Also, with the cylindrical shape, the image is not as distorted and almost always seemless.
