pdf batch conversion
anyone know of a batch script or a program (preferably free) that will convert documents in a directory to pdf (with landscape option, i know i'm asking alot)? any suggestions? i also have an IIS server at my disposal if anything can be automated with asp scripts. word to your mother.

I haven't tried doing what you're trying to do, but you might try Appligent Software , however a lot of their stuff is far from free, but it does work well and they have excellent support response times.
Also try checking out PDFZone Most of the free pdf stuff I was able to find was really barebones stuff in regards to converting/merging existing pdfs. If you want to generate PDFs from data you can parse try checking out PDFlib. HTH , -b PS my mother thanks you for your kind word.

ok how about this. did some more snooping around, found i could set my default printer as the pdf distiller, and use the following as a batch file

notepad /P file.txt so i need to get rid of the header and footer, anyone know a switch to get rid of the header and footer in notepad? once again, word to your mother. |
