Proview and Mag LCD monitors
Does anyone have experience using an LCD monitor made by Mag or Proview? I'm thinking of purchasing an 18" model by one of these two. The prices and specs are the same, so I was just wondering if there were any reliability or other issues that might differentiate them.
Thanks

We've sold their standard CRT's and haven't had any problems. I've also heard from a few customers that said they were quite pleased with their CRT's.
Sorry, don't know anything about the LCD's. As long as they have a good warranty (3 yrs), you should be ok. |

>>What warranty did you get on it?
Just the standard 1 year warranty against defects. I'm thinking prices will continue to come down, so the time value of my money that I would have spent on the rebate will be comperable to buying a new one if i have to. ![]() >>How much did you pay? Came to $399 US. ($449-$50 mail in rebate) >>And where from? Best Buy. (In store, not from online. I read Ctb's horror story )>>Sorry I'm nosey hehe Yes you are, but you're fogiven. ![]() |

Hmmm not bad, I would have opted for one with a bit more warranty if it were me.

I never buy extended warranties, and have yet to need one. With the money I save on all of them, I can afford to fix the one freak thing that breaks the day after the warranty expires.

Ah I'm the opposite, whenever I don't buy the extended warranty it's always the most expensive part that breaks down the day after the standard warranty expires.
