Question Question on load...
I know there are a million factors that figure in to it, but roughly how much load can a SUN Enterprise level, dual 400 w/ 2 gigs of ram handel?

1) its not djadrenaline...

2) its was 40 degrees celcius here for the past few days... btw, ny is a 2hr drive from toronto.... i was in rochester a few weeks ago... it was colder than in canada...

Oh and I have a P800 256MG of RAM, geforce 2, sb live, surround sound speakers, tdk 12x burner, and dvd...

Anyways most things don't function properly with 7xx megs of ram.... so i dont know about the 2000

I used to live in Montreal, so by all means, my comment was just tongue-in-cheek. Regardless of the fact that we share the same climate, the beer ads they show in the US have made my brain instantly corrolate Canada with Cold. Perhaps that they both start with the same letter? Also, while Windows may not work properly with RAM approaching quadruple digits, most, if not all Unices do (MacOS X included).

must have been a moment of pure dumbness brought about by working too hard on a website for too little pay...

and yes, you are correct about rochester being one of the coldest places on earth... that's why we cold blooded ones go to college in places like west virginia...
