When I started in the web development biz, I used to code for Internet Explorer, until I came to the realization that Mozilla and Netscape are the ones displaying it right, or I should say, rendering it correctly (as I coded it).
So, I code and test in Mozilla to be sure that my code actually follows the REAL standards, and not the Microsoft ones. I have nothing against Microsoft, I have been a customer for a long time, and I will continue to be. However, Internet Explorer, while the pages look "prettier" aren't compliant with the actual standards whatsoever. So its not Netscape that message up your page, Netscape displays exactly what you code, its Internet Explorer that messes it up. And yes, I just noticed that, dont ask. |
