you dont get my point here. i mean, its not a bad idea to just copy and paste a working code - heck, i even do it when i get lazy - but if there's a better way of solving the problem, why settle for something less.

I cannot help but say that a code library, one that andneass described is a pretty good idea. I think the biggest problem, however, is to find a way to build a "bridge" from your project(s) to the library. And moreover, write your code to suit, basicly, any project. Classes suit this well, but specific script like polls and news scripts may require extra settings or project specific coding. And that's a big problem if you want you code to be portable.

But in all, a pretty nice idea. Would you andneass mind if I kinda copied this library idea?

No I wouldn't mind, it's not like I invented it, people have been doing this since the early days of software engineering

I guess we can even ask Andaness to put up its code library together with instructions on how to use it.

I am sure And would not say no and would like to share what he knows.

Right ???

I would actually have to say no because it's the property of my company, not me as I person.

I'm a student yes, but I work part-time for a company called Switch. (www.switch.no). You probably won't learn much from that cause it's in norwegian
