Hi,
Does anyone know how to set the screen resolution of a system with Red Hat Linux 7 and Gnome? I have looked through all the set-up options in Gnome but it's nowhere to be seen. I found something called "Xconfigurator" and set that but it had no effect - are Gnome windows different from X-windows??? Help! I need the resolution to be at least 800x600 so that web-sites look OK in the Netscape browser (rather than having to scroll across to see the whole page)... Thanks, Susie ![]() |

I used Xconfigurator to change the screen resolution and it works perfectly. I found the instruction here:
