Refreshing content on sites so everyone sees the latest info
Just a question for anybody out there. You create a site and then you update the site a few weeks later with new content. How do you make sure the end user sees the latest info if it is cached. In dreamweaver you can add a refresh option which will refresh it automatically but then they will have to completely download the site and every page there within every time it is viewed. Basically my question is this, am I "Industry Standard" by leaving it to the end user to refresh and empty there cache. Thanking in advance.

Add meta tags that place the page out of date which should cause the new page to be loaded when accessed by clients.
