Running for the Longest Thread

Let's create the longest active thread in all of Devshed. I will post a mind-boggler (whether Math puzzles, Anagrams, etc.), then people'll try to answer it. The person who answers it will post the next mind-boggler.

I'll have the pleasure of posting the first question:

Entity (that was WAY to easy...)

I had a thread with over 300 posts... good luck...

"There are three commonly used words in the English language which end on '-gry'. 'Angry' and 'hungry' are two of them. What is the third word in the ENGLISH language? It is a common word you use every day and if you have been listening to what I say, you have already heard it. "

No cheating....

Maybe if your native language is English...

In my dictionary, that would be 'abandon', although I didn't hear you mention it 'Three' is the third word in your question (which is in English).. If there's actually another word ending on -gry it's outside my english vocabulary and I wish the rest good luck with it

While the thread will be serious enough (with riddles instead of messages to fill it and make it the longest) I see no reason why it whould be locked

Since I think my first 2 answers were correct (in a way at least ), Ctb isn't present at the moment to fill us in and anyone can search a dictionary online I'll give another riddle to ponder on in the meantime:

edit
Oww, and because the answer can be seen above
/edit

There are 4 junkies, quite stoned, at the Dutch-German border. They hear German police sirens coming and figure they'd better cross the border to The Netherlands to prevent capture. There's only 1 problem: they have to cross a bridge to get there, but the bridge is old, has many holes in it and can only hold 2 people at the same time. Luckily one of the 4 junkies has a flashlight with him so they can avoid the holes. Since some of the junkies are more stoned than the other, they need different amounts of time to cross the bridge. Junky1 needs 5 minutes to cross it, Junky2 needs 25 minutes, Junky3 needs 10 minutes and Junky4 needs 20 minutes. When they cross in pairs, they take the time of the slowest to complete the journey. In a moment of clarity they figure they have 1 hour to cross the bridge before the Polizei will arive and arrest them. Will they succeed in time?

Hope I didn't forget any facts and everything is clear

PS. I added a nice 'scrambler' for those of you who have a good knowledge of the English language

Wait...Is this a made up or is this really a riddle? There are many commonly used words in English like a, or, is, but angry and hungry as some two of them. but basically, the commonly used words are not only three. am i right?
