Screen Size (Mac) ?
Mornin,
Just wondering if any Mac owners are about this evening, I am in search of a little knowledge, what screen sizes do Mac offer?? I am pretty sure I have the three standard for PC's being: 640 x 480 800 x 600 1024 x 768 Are there any differences for Mac??? Cheers

Mac screen resolutions are no different than PC resolutions, they use the same hardware after all.
The "native" resolution on any LCD Mac currently seems to be 1024x768 (iBook & iMac), and can go down to 640x480. The PowerBook G4 has a "native" resolution of 1152x768 (because of its wide-screen), and can go down to 720x480 The PowerMac G4 can range from 640x480 to over 1280x1024, and even 3:1 ratios like the PowerBook, depending on what monitor you connect to it. |
