Does anybody know where I can get any statistics on the use of server side scripting languages? I've hammered google till I'm blue in the face to no avail! I'm really after figures on whats actually being used to write modern sites today, not a survey that shows old sites which I'm sure will show CGI slightly more favourably.
Thanks

I had read one article in which they use search engine's feature of searching a string in URL of the site.
They put in '.php' and see how many results are returned , that can be a rough estimate on how many sites uses PHP. Same you can repeat for asp and cgi. JD
