search engine server
what server does google use? and what application do they use to store the information of all sites (like mysql, flattext, database, etc..)
just want to know how to make server more faster when searching the keywords in the database. I don't think mysql can handle that. |

Linux (redhat specifically)
I'm fairly certain google uses Oracle to store their data. Application wise, Google uses Python for their website, and custom C code for the backend logic.
