something....really...weird...has...occurred

All of a sudden, the text in IE's address bar is right aligned.

What's more--see second image--even the cursor is placed at the beginning when as you type more.

there's something interesting associated with it - as you type, the text seems to repell the force propelled by the address bar. So you get a "bouncy" feeling as you type.
