Source of chat transcripts
I'm looking to build as large a corpus of english IM chat transcripts as possible, as easily as possible.
Not just the crazy stuff on www.somethingawful.com (in fact preferably not), but the regular old banal conversation that takes up most IM'ing. I need to collect them because I'm planning on using this corpus, in combination with some sort of pattern analysis (Bayesian, Naive Bayesian, kNN, ?) to create a chat bot. Any thoughts on how I could get these transcripts? Any sites you know of that collect these?
