Question Starting an Internet radio

Hi,

My friends and I are thinking of starting an Internet radio. Just like any FM radio, only that streaming on the Internet. I have some basic knowledge of stream servers such as Real, Helix, Windows Media and Darwin. However, I don't know exactly 'what' software I should use to do the live programming of the radio (mixing the music with live voice, etc, etc).

Any ideas? Also, what streaming technology do you recommend?

Thanks,
Ralph.

Doesn't shoutcast just broadcast what you're playing through WinAmp? If so, there are a lot of mixing plugins for WinAmp that allow you to mix sound from two or more instances of WinAmp.
