He would not let UN inspectors back in because the US used them as spies last time. Iraq says it used these WMD on Iran.
What proof does the US have they did not use them?
More importantly why will the US not share this information with UNSCOM / its allies / the public?
Is it because they don't want it to become general knowledge WHO sold Iraq these items?

AFAIK (and could find) that was Iran not Iraq that was sold missile engines by N. Korea.

Syrya was mentioned but denys it did. Iraq admitted this illegal import of 130 engines in its most recent declaration, it was not 'discovered'.

It has (according to CNN) 24 SCUD's and two long range Russian missiles. Hardly a large threat given the no fly zones, spy planes and sat's trying to spot them before they can get into a firing position.

Butler withdrew them without UN approval after he was told the US was going to bomb.
