static ip and domain
HI all,
if i get a static IP address for my server , how i can associate a domain name? suppose i have a domain like www.mysite.com and my static ip its 1.1.1.1 what i should do on win os? thank you |

The best way to do it when you have windows is use a service like ZoneEdit http://www.zoneedit.com
They allow you to delegate the domain to them and then you can enter your static IP and have the domain name point to your server. This is the easiest way to set things up since you don't need to worry about running a DNS server on your windows machine. |
