What really gets under your skin?

How about the fact that you can't buy a Dell with Linux unless you get a business model (and if you ask sales why, they tell you to go to Customer Care, and Customer Care directs you to sales... seriously)?

How about websites that say the problems you're experiencing are due to the fact you're not using "Internet Exploiter 6.01alphabetazetaepsilonomega service pack 82 with the deadbolt lock security system to prevent unauthorized intruder access on the starship Enterprise? (but still let's you wander your hdd from the browser)" (whatever happened to coding for the fact that there's more than one version of multiple browsers out there anyway?)

How about people with no knowledge / experience who tell you they're going to go to school to get there MCSE in six months so they can do what you're doing (and actually believe it)?

How about people with their six month MCSEs who blame the fact they can't get a job because on the job market (and actually believe it)?

How about the company that demanded applicants have six years' experience in XML and 4 in Java for a near entry level position?

I could go on... but I think I've therapuetically lowered my blood pressure by at least a few points here...

Simply tell Dell that if they won't give you what you want you'll take your business elsewhere. I would never advise anyone to buy a Dell (or Gateway, or IBM, etc.) in the first place.

How about crooked companies that use scare tactics like this to get people to buy their products? How many people do you think are going to believe they actually scanned your hard drive to display this?
