Is this possible w/o payin for POP access :-(

yahoo is blocked @ work

i wanna get some sorta cron job on my computer to get the mails and save it on my pc so i can view them as text at least when i ssh into my macine

i never installed lynx with RH.. i dont have the cds is there a place i can dl it and install

most redhat installs come with it or links, which does same job. Text based web-browser that can be used from SSH, means you can SSH into box outside of work network and access Yahoo from there.

well what type of box is this? you should be able to download rpm or package for it quite easily.

nice i installed it on my box and i likes.. its actually pretty kewl and my site is lynx friendly for the most part.. actually comes up pretty decent

well Lynx is a good tool since that is similar to the view search engines get of your site. If the site looks horrid in Lynx (due to bad usage of alt tags and providing only images for navigation) then it will not be viewed well by search engines either.
