    Geany, Gedit, Eclipse

    Speed of operation, ease of use, autocomplete, bracket matching, syntax highlighting

    Zend IDE was a bit slow for my tastes, but it still works.

    5. I had an internship in 2005 at a company that used TextPad and have stuck with it ever since
